Jeff Barr, Amazon Web Services Evangelist, watches large-scale industry and customer trends within the cloud computing space, seeking to understand the current state and future direction of the industry. Jeff joined Amazon in July of 2002 and has also held the positions of Senior Software Developer and Senior Web Services Evangelist.
Larry Augustin, CEO of SugarCRM, was part of a small group who coined the term "Open Source". He has written and spoken extensively on Open Source worldwide. Worth Magazine named him to their list of the Top 50 CEOs in 2000. From 2002 to 2004 he was a Venture Partner at Azure Capital Partners. In 1993 he founded VA Linux (now SourceForge, NASDAQ:LNUX) serving as CEO until August 2002. While CEO he launched SourceForge.net and led the company through an IPO in December 1999.
Jim Kaskade is a serial entrepreneur and CEO of 10 years. He is recognized in the Cloud Computing space, having built and scaled his own digital media SaaS company which served over 10,000 enterprises. His has also spent an additional 10 years building Fortune 1000 data warehouse and data center infrastructure at companies including Teradata, NCR, and AT&T.
